20. Man of the match part 2

It was on Thursday when I finally went to school. I am given the glory of the girl who was man of the match. If GIRL POWER WAS A PERSON THAT WOULD BE MICHAL VEZI. Well I actual don't care at this point how the say my name. The Big five are not around so the guys lifted her up on their shoulders as the parade her down the corridors and celebrate their victory. On Friday the Big Five are back and they are an unexpected assembly in school. It an official celebration of the Lycan junior and senior Soccer team winning.  They called up the teams to the stage in front of all the school. I am still in a tomboy look but now I am wearing my clothes. The girly guy looks and yes the cap. my hair is now grown to neck and I wear a sport bra the oversized shirt doesn't one can’t tell my cup size.  I try to stand the furthest away from Luca but he walks up to me stand by my side and put his arm around my shoulder. The loud clapping assemble immediately goes silence as everyone grasp moving their hands to their mouth in disbelieve.  Oh well I guess he just had to...I just stand there smiling, like a log. I couldn't stop blushing though. The whispers that I had dread:

Although everyone knew the Alpha had not meet his mate the thought didn't dawn on any of them that she could possibly be the Alpha's mate who was conceal all this time so he could mark her. anyway she is a junior a long way from 18yrs. to sense a mate bond.

"This enough" Luca says there was silence in the hall.  "I will not tolerance any word, insults or any one harassing my m... My girl. This is the final warning". looks at me with gentle looking eyes. I am blushing …did he just say “My girl” my wolf jumps in joy. Hell I am blushing uncontrollably right now. Then we they walk out the wall through the middle all the learner submitted bow, the other four guys follow and then the team. Damn! I felt like royalty.

The next two weeks I had to wear the school uniform, for the test week. Which was written be the whole school. All the high school learner wrote in the hall. I was a bit glad he did that “whole Alpha commend speech...” At this point I skipped through the whole dramatic phase of having to deal with the stares and whispers. High school drama. We finished on Monday of the second week the Matrics finished their exams on Thursday. On Friday the school was buzzing with hyper. It was preparation for fun fair which would run throughout the weekend. A senior fund raiser for well their farewell. Each grade had to do something fun. There was a car-wash area which was a given for the Matric and cheerleaders, food stalls, mini machinery game: - swing boat, rolla-costa, fairs wheel, some which are there on carnival games. There were ruffle tickets.

“I didn't know about this,” taking a breath and swallow down a lump on my through “the junior man of the match amongst the seniors would be auctioned for a date to the highest bidder.” I say look at Liz as we read the items on the fun events.

“Well girl, you going on a date (nursery rhyme song style). I wonder what Alpha Luca will say about this” She start of excited but ends up biting her nails nervous for me.

 “It just a game I suppose what could go wrong. I honest don’t know when our class did some of this but wow.” Grabbing our class banners and labels, I say trying to change the subject I will deal with that later.

“Since we had 60% of the juniors’ soccer team in the science class, the class had a soccer shooting to win a prize kind of game. And juice on sale.” Tim says.

‘but really Mich, you and the Alpha. Mean …” Alexi says smiling and shaking his head in amusement “Anyway the date with whoever wins the bid, will be during the festivities so maybe the Alpha won’t be dramatic, and you don’t have to worry about your safety, the Big Five might just end up doing what they did last year.”

“Group date” Alexi, Liz and Tim say together. This easy my nerves a bit.

We all helping set up our area with the rest of the class. We all done by 12ish. We leave and would return at 4or 5 that is when the festivals begin. I was about to go to Luca. Than saw Luca with that girl Maya like really the guy declared publicly that I was his girl. I could feel myself fuming with rage.

“Who is this girl mean why does he even let her touch him that way” I asked Liz, she is always clued up about everyone and everything maybe she know. We stood there watching Luca spinning Maya in a huge hug, then a light kiss on the cheek

“sorry my friend but for the first time I am actually clueless about it. Mean All I know is, she come outta nowhere early this year to join our school as a Senior. She is somehow close to the big five and besties with Linda.” She pauses and we look at each other

“No way! Mate?!” all the four us say at the same time. I felt my eyes getting teary.  They all look at me

“Mean no …it not that way thou Mich…” My friends call out as I just run off to the edge of the forest. I wolf out as soon as I’m outta sight.  I just go home and take a nap hurt. I just don’t understand this, what is he doing with me than…I doze off.

I’m woken up by the twin jumping on my bed, they can be so annoying. “get up! It time to go to the fair…”

Slowing opening my eyes “What, time is it? Why didn’t you wake me up sooner?” I get up looking at the watch than rush to shower and get dressed. I decide to wear a summer dress with a denim jacket and gladiator sandals. Maybe Man of the match auction must be the highest bid.  The twins jaw dropped when they see me in a dress. I hadn’t been girly dressed for well almost the past two months and 3 weeks.  We walk out mom and dad are almost in tears when they see me” Our little girl is all grown up” I roll my eyes, then Blush I don’t even know why…walk straight out the door to just go to the car. I’m on the phone texting my cousin all the way to school grounds not even pay attention to what’s happening on the car. She is updating me on finding her mate she is on cloud nine, expanding on that she’s marked and mate. I tell her the well about the fair which we going to. And about Maya well… She than tells me, she won’t be coming over for the holidays but will come on my birthday.  I decide to ignore Luca when we get to the fair, rather avoid him.

Luca POV

 I haven’t seen Mich the whole day. Although the most of the fun fair start at night The car wash will run through the entire day. The only thing I can do for now is just look at her from the distance. We just talking with guys when my cousin Maya come to me she tells me the good news that she can go home for the holidays, I grab her in a huge Hug. I am actual excited with her gone for the holidays I will have all the time to sped with our mate my wolf jumps for joy. Nobody knows that Maya is my maternal cousin. The Luna brought her in the dead of night and cast a protection spell on her. She was a rare wolf white fur she only found out during her last birthday when she finally wolf-out at 17yrs she hadn’t found here mate but she didn’t lose her magic after she become a wolf. I turned around feeling a little sense of unsettlement. I see Mich at the edge of the forest. I wonder what is that about, she must have had a fight with her friends. We rotate working on the car wash It 2pm when I pass by her house the twins tell me she is sleeping, I chose not to disturb her and go home to freshen up. I will have the rest of the evening with my mate. When I arrive I search for her mean I can smell her scent it so clear. I see her from afar and wave to her, She doesn’t response in fact it seems she is going the opposite direction. Mean she can be that busy is she…it took me 10 min to realise she doing it again ignoring me. She did this throughout this term. When we about to go on the stage for the auction date. I grabbed her to the nearest room to talk to her. I turn out to a be drama custom room. I really just wanna kiss her but I have to find out why she is ignoring before she doesn’t her disappearing act. Mean I know her; the way she thinks I have watch her these past 2months. Right now she looks gorgeous in that summer dress this is the fourth time I’ve seen her in summer drees. This is real hard but before I even say a word “What do you want? I’m busy” she shoves my hand of the small of her back.

I look at my hand than look at her in eye, I cage her to the wall, “Why are you avoiding me, all day?” This girl is frustrating me. “I…I don’t, just …Go be with, Maya…and leave me alone.” Her eyes getting teary. My anger just melts away; I wipe cup her face in my hands. ‘Bae, are you jelly” I chuckle a bit “I’m yours, all yours and you MINE.” I looked at her concerned. “I am not Jealous; you can’t say thing like that…your mate… my mate. I just can’t do this we should …” She said, now tears running down her cheeks. I could tell whatever she will say next I will not like…slammed my lips on her. She wrapped her arms around my neck I deepen the kiss and wrap my arm on her waist. Until we breathless and pull away “look babe, your birthday is in a week from now, let’s just enjoy each other’s company. And we’ll have this Mate talk after that.” I place my forehead on hers. “I can’t lose her, I can’t be without her, I can’t tell her she’s my mate I wish she would take the hints but it hasn’t worked. I can’t tell her about Maya either…She is my cousin and being around me helps to mask her scent. Anyway I will have Mich all myself the next week before her birthday. “man of the match auction, how do I look?” Mich ask me as she twirls in my arm. I growl a bit at the thought of her on a date with another man. “I lick my lips you on fire, lil wolf” I lead her back to the stage. While I get lost in thought ‘S**t how could I forget that, ‘I should mind-link the pack to not bid on her. Or else’ My wolf gives me that idea. But the parents are also her and my father the Alpha will also hear about this…just let it be. Rather let’s do a group date and I will keep an eye on the suck, Since Seniors team I can’t bid as I will be an auctioned item maybe I should hire a guy to bid. One of her friends, then I’ll ask Maya to bid for me and I will sit with my mate on that date.’ The auction goes as planned. And we decide on a group date. Needless to say “lil wolf got the highest bid”.
