Ashley's POV
"The tests came out great and we can do the transplant tonight itself. We cannot wait any longer and more over, we don't need to. Everything seems up to the point so there's nothing to wait for", Dr. Ken says and everyone smiles in satisfaction and relief.
"Mr. Jennings, we need you to come and fill out some forms so we can proceed with all the required procedure", the nurse tells Ian and he nods before getting up from beside me. He kisses my forehead and tells me that he will be back soon but before they could leave, I stop them. My voice is still a bit slurry from the medications along with being a little weak.
"Yes, Ashley?", Dr. Ken asks and I try to sit up on the bed with the minimal strength that I have. The meds are really wearing me down. Evander and Chloe help me
