I took a gentle walk back toward the packhouse. Not in any real hurry, for I had a feeling that the f*****g Alpha was going to do all he could to prove to us that we were the ones at his beck and call. His plan was more than obvious, and that was one where he kept us hanging around. Trying to prove he was the boss. He would learn to regret that. Because the longer he left us sitting around, the more time we had to look into the death of my warrior. And, when I had the evidence I needed, I would be making the fucker pay.
