The labor was brutal, and though not long in terms of how long she was in pain, it was too long for that pup that was struggling. I wanted the pup out of her quickly, so we could give it proper healing. The old woman and I worked well together. I worked on keeping the baby as strong as I could and the old woman worked on Sabrina. I have no idea why she started labor early, and because of the poisoning, I was concerned that someone had done something to make her go into labor, I thought the culprit was gone, but maybe the maid was just a pawn in the middle.
