"Where are you two going?" My mother asked us as Laiden and I started upstairs to his bedroom. We paused and looked back at her.
"It is almost twelve," I told her. "We are going to bed."
"We have plenty of guest bedrooms," Adelina implied that she did not want us sleeping in the same bed. But it's too late anyway.
