Throughout the day, I found myself observing Meera and Cole, trying to decipher the intricacies of dating. With the incessant chatter surrounding Marcus finally dying down, at least for the time being, I could focus on understanding the dynamics between couples. As Ace held a meeting with Ariella and other members of the student council outside, I honed in on Cole and Meera, who seemed thoroughly engaged in each other's company.
Despite their apparent closeness—sitting together, sharing laughter, and occasional touches—I couldn't discern anything definitive indicating they were more than friends. After all, Ace and I often exhibited similar behaviors as friends. The line between platonic affection and romantic interest seemed blurred.
