Bella
I glanced around the car, taking in every detail, searching for any opportunity to escape. The doors were locked, and Brad was driving too reckless for me to consider attacking him. My heart pounded in my chest as I tried to think clearly.
"Don't even think about doing something rash," Brad said, and I gulped. The cold edge in his voice made my skin crawl.
"Your will face the consequences of your actions, Brad," I threatened, my voice trembling with anger and fear.
He looked at me, a smile plastered on his face that didn't reach his eyes. "You can leave, Bella, but remember, I will leak the proof right now. The choice is yours."
I ran my hand through my hair, frustration and desperation knotting inside me. "Why are you playing with me? You're acting like a sadist!"
