As I reached the gazebo, the first thing I noticed was Ace's back. My grip tightened on my handbag when I saw Ariella standing in front of him, talking. She’d been unusually quiet since her outburst during Ace's coma, and now, seeing her with him, made me uneasy. What could they possibly be discussing?
