As expected, chaos erupted when Ace returned to school. The news of Ace, Marcus, and Maria being injured had spread like wildfire throughout the school, though Ilya managed to keep the media at bay regarding Ace's condition. Walking hand in hand with Ace, we were met with numerous stares and probing questions from our peers. People wanted to know what had happened, their curiosity almost palpable.
