Louisa’s Point of View
The chamber became cooler because of the chunk of ice blocking every possible exit. The air became heavy, making me regret my decision more. The king was with my uncle, and they both wanted me dead. The burning sensation on my forehead wasn’t all. I felt the warm red liquid running out of my nose, and the metallic taste filled my tongue as well.
The king wasn’t satisfied yet with my condition. Gripping on my neck, he banged my head against the wall. Slowly I ran out of air. Lack of blood circulation made my face all red. My eyes popped out, and I opened my mouth, desperately looking for air. My mind could only think of one person. My angel!
