David's POV
We gather with the other Alphas and decided to send the warriors to bring the Pack back home and we okayed the visit from the Lunas if they wanted to travel as well. The battle was well fought and we were all still running high with adrenaline and needed an outlet. It would be hours before the Mates would arrive so to pass the time they shifted into their wolves and went on a run through the forest.
I found myself resting at the side of a large oak tree, admiring the beauty of the woods that surrounded me. The sunless sky covered the woods over the treetops which created a canopy over my head.
