The pack physician came to Tamra to make sure she was okay. He took the time to do a complete check. And the doctor told me she fine, just some small cuts and some bruising that will heal in a few hours. I thank him and give him a ride home while My Luna gets ready for bed.
I want her to rest for the rest of the day. The warriors surround the house, and they do not appear to be in any hurry to leave. While I appreciate the gesture, they have families of their own to protect. I order them to go home, and I walk back into my home and decide to make a light dinner for my Luna and myself.
A simple soup and sandwich night, and then I can hold her in my arms the rest of the night. I can not tell you how scared I was that I would be too late to help her. I need to remember to
