Ally had been trying hard to stay afloat the past few days. She went to work, she got back home… she tried exercising a little instead of chugging down beer after beer. But it was hard. She missed him a lot. She often found herself remembering small things… little details. The way his eyes wrinkled when he smiled, how his hands always seemed to move with such precision no matter what he was doing, the sound of his laughter, ever so genuine and deep. Even when it hurt to think about him, for some reason, the memory of him also brought her peace. So, she kept him close in her mind. A couple more days passed, and her head started feeling clearer. She knew what she had to do. He’d been so right. She needed closure. The phone rang three times before he answered. -A- Ally?- Marvin stam
