Island occult

2 days later They arrive, everyone looks down and sees the island from a birds-eye view, it was beautiful. It felt like they were in a different world. The water that surrounded the island was light crystal clear blue, the island itself was a very healthy green, everything was perfect. The choppers start to land, the doors open and everyone exits.  “WHOA!!!” A kid calls out, as they all did a 360 on what surrounds them, nothing but trees, beauty, and the sound of calm winds surrounded by birds chirping. Man in chopper #1 “Landing complete, all landed safely on the ground.” Man in chopper #2 “Over, all landed safely. Getting ready for take-off. The choppers lifts off, they watch them go up, till they’re out of sight... Jim communicates through Sue’s walkie talkie- “Everyone okay?” Sue quickly grabbing her walkie-talkie, “ Yes, we’re all okay.” “What's it like over there?...” Sue looks around, inhales the fresh air the surrounded them, closing her eyes. “Incredible...” She says. The sky was a pure blue, with no clouds in sight. The sunlight directly shining onto the island, giving it a golden glow. “Set up camp, there are some tents in there so you have shelter, we will talk later.” He disconnects… Everyone goes down, they start opening their bags. They were all feeling pretty excited about everything. The island was beautiful and they look forward to having a good time and taking advantage of the opportunity they had been given. “ Space out, there's too many of us…” Timmy irritatedly says ruining the whole mood... “ Tim is right, even though he could’ve said it better. Everyone space out. Build your tent but not too far out, then come back here so we stay together before we go to have a look around.”  “I don’t think all of us leaving is necessary, we need to look after our things,” Sue adds on, going against what Rue had suggested. “Okay you stay baby girl, Juvi’s will head outlook at the sights, you stay here and pray, thank God for our safe arrival.” Rolling her eyes, she stands and dusts her pants before walking off. “Fine, we’ll all go…” sue agrees while standing up to follow her. “We all need to know our surrounding after all, and Jim did say no one is here, we’re all alone. The only thing that could snatch our food are the birds… but I highly doubt they’ll be able to open canned food so let’s head out.” Timmy adds and starts walking off and everyone follows, in complete silence they walk. Only looking around. They arrive at the beach shore, the waters are clear blue and they sparkle... Everyone starts shouting and running towards the water and they remove their clothes and go for a swim. Feeling like teenagers, wild and free. Everyone filled with laughter and splashing till Rue notices a shadow underneath their feet... Circulating. “GET OUT THE WATER, GET OUT THE WATER RIGHT NOW!!!” She shouts in panic as she runs out. Without anyone asking a single question everyone starts running out in panic and they stand outside the water shivering and confused... “What- what was it?” Timmy asks. Just then a dolphin appears before disappearing into the water… everyone turns to Rue, who stood there in shock. “Oh wow, nice going, Rue. We flee out of the water because of a dolphin…” “I – no no no, it couldn’t- I swear” “ Whatever, let’s go back in, stay out because you’re afraid of a dolphin.” They laugh at her, before half of them go back into the water. Suddenly the island waters start shifting clockwise, moving and everyone in the water, starts to panic, the screams that followed as the water current covered them and they’re gone... Frozen- scared- confused everyone says nothing, only looked at the water which was still and peaceful once again, like it never happened.  “Let’s Head back, we need to tell Jim to turn around and fetch us,” Rue shouts out, everyone runs behind her and they arrive back at camp. Everything was still there but their walkie-talkies, they empty their bags in panic. “ My walkie-talkie is gone?” Sue says, “ I did say some of us should stay here, I knew this would happen!” She shouts out, looking at Rue. “ Sue shut up really, we don’t have time for pointing fingers. Thought you were more mature than that.” Rue replies to her, while standing up to put her hands on her hips. “ who the hell would take our walkie-talkies and not our food and water?” “ probably one of the others playing a stupid prank on us, now they can’t even tell us because we don’t know where the hell they are.” “Them disappearing like that, it wasn’t a joke. Me seeing something in the water, it shouldn’t have been a joke. Our walkies disappearing isn’t a joke. It's happening and y’all better get serious.” Rue says, while looking around. “So what do you suppose we do? it seems as though you have been gifted with the island sixth sense...” he asks while folding his arms, waiting on Rue to reply, but she says nothing. “ I think we should pray.” “ No offense Sue, but I disagree,” Matty replies. “ And who are you to disagree?”  “Someone a part of this group, with an opinion- just like you. I don’t remember anyone making you team captain, you just happen to have a big mouth, that’s why we’re aware you’re here.” “ well, since you’re getting a big mouth too, I must be your role model.” “ Shut it, man! We need to stick together, stop picking on each other…” Rue shouts out, pushing them further from each other. Sue wonders off alone, she leaves all the others bickering and goes deeper into the island. It starts getting dark. The plants on the island start to light up, almost magical. She’s mesmerized by her surrounding, she arrives at a pond, with crystal blue water. She kneels in front of it, right by the edge. Takes in all the beauty that surrounded her, the peace and quiet. She closes her eyes to say a prayer, silently in her head. “ Amen...” she whispers before she slowly reaches into the water and dips her hand inside. Moving it slowly around in a circular motion. She’s smiling, completely floating on cloud 9, she had never seen such beauty. It was therapeutic.  She then places both hands inside when suddenly WHOOSH, a pair of dark, almost burnt like hands start pulling her inside the water…She screams and pushes her body backwards, it becomes a tug of war battle between sue and whatever is in the water- then it lets her go... her hand is left with marks of where it held sue, she stares at her hands, shaking with tears in her eyes… Then the rest of the children arrive, all running to Sue’s rescue...“What is it!?!” Rue shouts out, running to kneel towards her, Sue looks at her hands- the marks are gone… she tries to talk, but she no longer has a voice. She tries again, only her mouth moves, no words... “What the-,” Timmy says before stepping back. Sue stands up in panic touching her mouth, starts blabbing but no one can understand… “Sue, what the hell happened here?” Rue asks her, while pulling her into a hug. Tears start rolling sues eyes again, shes nodding and she turns around- the pond, she points at it. The kids walk around and stand in front of it…
