The whole car went silent. Ian's words left Ava stunned. Her eyes froze as she gazed out the window.
Stephen turned his head to look at Ian.
"Can you please shut up?"
Ian smirked as he observed Ava's side profile. Ronald patted Stephen's shoulder.
"Why are you putting yourself between them? Your sister is capable of dealing with him."
Ava turned her head to look at Ronald. “Would you kindly ask your friend to refrain from speaking with me? I am over him."
Ronald glanced at Ava and gave her a cheeky smile. "Do you believe anyone has any control over him? Even his parents struggled to keep him under control. Who are we to have the power to do that?"
