“What? Me? I don’t even know how to use my powers!” Lyvia exclaimed right after Sevda said she is JorvTown’s only hope in a war with the all-powerful Elits.
“You are immune to the purple mist,” Sevda told her.
“How sure are you that I am immune? That’s just an assumption,” she said.
“No, I know for a fact that JorvTown magic doesn’t harm you because you are Vernian,” he insisted. “That is because you don’t have magic in Vernia,”
“But I have magic when I came here so, I can’t be entirely immune, it could still harm me,” she argued. While the idea that she is immune is sort of good news, it would be a huge disappointment if it was not true. It could just be an assumption Sevda made based on the fact that she’s an outsider.
