Alec had texted me on the ride home that he would be working a little bit later tonight. I inwardly rolled my eyes. This was probably nothing but it seemed like he was avoiding me. We hadn't spoken more than a few words to each other since our big fight and I wanted to clear the air with him so we could get back to our normal selves. Ashley had dropped me off at the front door, she explained she had a dinner date with Clint in town tonight.
