It took everything I had in me to leave the room before Jessa walked out of the bathroom. I wanted so badly to see her dressed in those silk pyjamas, to take my eyes over her delicious little body and drink in all her perfection. I needed to take my time with her, be a gentleman. I had one week to make her fall in love with me, to remember her place and to sever the remaining mate bond between her and Alec. I made my way through the mansion, locating my third-floor office. I left the door slightly open and walked over to my desk. Sitting behind it, I opened the bottom drawer and pulled out a decanter of whisky and a glass.
