I felt horrible for how I left things with Alec, but he needs to know that I was serious. I know he is just trying to protect me, but he needs to see me as his Luna, his equal and competent enough to protect our pack, our family and myself. Ashley and I drove in silence towards the school. As we neared our destination she finally spoke up "It was pretty badass that you stood up to Alec like that" she said with a small smile on her face.
