*Jessa's pov*
I heard Alec's words playing in my head all night, they had found my stepmother. I had a restless night's sleep, my mind was all over the place. I jolted awake, which made Alec shoot up where he was laying, "Jessa what's the matter?" he asked me "When did you find her Alec," I asked him. "She appeared on our territory yesterday afternoon, Jacob is with her at the hospital," Alec explained to me. My mind was racing a mile a minute but always kept coming back to where my father was.
I sat silently for a minute before Alec pulled me into a big hug. "Jessa, I'm sorry, I should have told you sooner" he pleaded with me. I wasn't angry at him, I was furious at whoever did this to my family. "It's okay Alec. I'm not angry with you" I whispered back to him, still trying to process
