The next few weeks passed uneventfully. Jessa went to school every day, and luckily had no more episodes of nearly blacking out. Mr. Arnold was a good teacher, he kept Jessa on her toes with her training but made sure to watch her closely. She was coming into her powers which was a beautiful thing to witness. I had taken off Friday afternoon earlier than I usually do. Ashley had texted me that Jessa was acting very sluggish today, which is something I had noticed over the last few days.
