I woke up to the light streaming in, oranges and pinks dancing on the horizon. I easily jump out of the bed, stretching for the morning and checking my splint. I rise from the ground and just sit on the bed when I hear the sound of keys and Carmen explodes into the room.
I should be worried that there is a key to my door.
But I can always unlock it from this side.
I could almost feel myself shaking when she rushes up and hugs me. I push her away slightly and she takes a step back.
"Today, you shall become Luna....uh....You are telling all of us your name today." She says, holding my shoulders, then releasing me.
"But first! You must get your hair done! Have it outside of your, uh, face thing. Take that off and put your dress on, keeping the face thing on though. Got it?" She instructs
