CHAPTER I: THE SECRET MOUNTAIN (3) "What's going on?!" "Follow me child!" exclaims the spirit, while he screamed. "Follow my voice, and don't look him in the eye!" The boy then ran as best he could, following his voice and hearing. Chasing as he could to meet. Following the fast steps; looking down at the ground, listening to the roar of the beast endlessly behind him. His heart was racing, his nerves were increasing. The trail seemed to keep going up, and deeper into the deep mountain area. "Don't look him in the eye!" exclaims the spirit. The The boy then moved on, but something inside him prevented him from following the advice. The breath of the beast felt it on the nape of his neck, on his back, on his shoulders. And taking a little glimpse through the mist and mystery, he saw the creature; he saw the specter. A dark silhouette, in the shape of a faded black fur animal of four giant ducks, and a long, dark tail. The boy fell, stumbling over one of the stones that he could not see in front of him. And just when the dark-air specter seemed to devour the boy, his dark pupils stared at the boy's, and for some reason, the beast was scared, and his eyes were shielded. "Elenfev get up!" exclaims the spirit. "We must continue! Runs! Runs!" Before the boy could understand why the beast had been shone by his gaze, he got up and started running. This time, entering the mountain, between nearby passageways, until reaching an intersection of two roads. The beast seemed only to have been distracted, and its roar could still be heard in their vicinity. "Fast! Elenfev! " exclaims the spirit. “It's only a matter of time before he finds us again! You must take a right! Follow me! " The spirit then began to take its way to the right. Floating without seeing before the boy, he had not followed his lead. For something inside him, called him to the alternate path. She looked to his left, and his heart screamed for her to choose for him. Elenfev didn't know why, but when he looked back down the path of his right hand. He saw the spirit in the distance; as he turned around. And when he finally turned around, and realized that doubt existed within the child's pure heart, his eyes went wild. And in the distance, the child could see how the luminous spirit was lost in the darkness, and his eyes were quickly transformed into red and dark pupils. Elenfev didn't think twice, he started running in the direction of the path that his left hand had. And for the second time on the tour, he questions the orders that the spirit that guided him indicated. His energies grew darker with each high step they took, and in the blink of an eye, the boy was entering the depths of the legendary mountain. The child began to run with greater intensity, when the spirit revealed his true identity as evil. The boy could feel it, and he could feel both specters running after him. The path he had chosen was completely dark; with small sparks of insects that walked between the tunnels. A set of deep caves that went further into the mountain. An evil laugh was then heard shouting through the nearby lares, while the boy tried to sneak randomly through the dozens of paths and caves that he entered. A true labyrinth, between the shadows of darkness. The boy then trips over a branch; he manages to identify that it is a dry tree, between secret passages of the great fortress. He had no idea where he was, much less how far he had walked up the mountain. But he was sure that both evil presences were looking for him everywhere; he could hear the voice of the spirit, resounding in her mind and in his heart. Announcing to him that he was about to be eaten; announcing his death and his disdain. The boy was full of tears; full of fear and agony. Among the spaces where his mind was not contaminated by the presence of the evil spirit, only the face of his mother lay. The face of his brothers. Wishing she had never left his villa. Wishing she had never left his town. "I just wanted to see the magic land!" whispers the child through tears. “I just wanted to know the upper realm! Everything is lost! Everything is over! " "Why give up now, if the kingdom is right behind you?" The child then, looks to the right and there was a being seated next to him; a small being, with a shovel and in his left hand. And although his body was quite obese and small, his face was identical to his. Like a reflection, like a mirror. "What - what is this?"
