Awaking in the morning with Candace's absence, Zane pulled himself to the edge of the bed in order to use the restroom before a nurse made his way in to check on him. Explaining how he had been awake twenty four hours to stay safe from further complications following his concussion before falling asleep for nearly two days, the nurse then told him how he was bandaged following the tournament. Zane learned how he had three broken fingers and two cracked ribs that he was unaware often until this moment.
