I watch Gabriella go through a range of emotions. Then she looks up at me “we have to tell your father that my mother is alive, plus I want to meet your parents.” I place my food down on the plate and sigh. “I think he should come here with my mum to see for himself. Since your mother was declared dead, he hasn't been the same! My mother said he changed after that day. He blamed himself for her death for many years.” Gabriella moves and kisses the underside of my jaw, “that settles it, then we will invite them here for dinner.
