Waking up in the morning knowing Marco and I are going away for a few days helps my moods. The last few weeks have been hectic.
Being taken during battle and held in dungeons have taken their tolls. I need to get away and refresh and reset my mind. Running a kingdom and keeping everyone safe is tiring and hard work.
As a little girl, I thought queens sat around all day and waited on and pampered. Boy, was I wrong! Being a Queen is leading people and putting others in danger to keep your kingdom safe, meeting with the leaders of each fraction and making sure everything runs smoothly. Granted, I get to live in a castle, and I do have people cooking for me and doing as I ask them to do but not once in the past few weeks have I had my nails done or even sat in a hairdre
