8:30 am the next day.
"Oh my goodness! Thank you, Albert," Samira jumped out of bed as soon as she heard the good news.
Her usual cranky and short-tempered attitude did not show this time, even if she only had about three hours of sleep. Samira slept when the sun was about to shine.
"Miss, would you like me to let him know you are here?" Albert queried.
Damien arrived late last night in Barcelona, ahead of his scheduled arrival, for which Albert was not informed. He received the news early in the morning.
"No. No. No, Albert. Please don't let him know." Samira pleaded that what Albert had done for her would surely place Damien's assistant in trouble, but she planned to own her part. She would take the blame, but meantime, Damien should not know.
