Lucy “How are you, Teck?” I carried the tray containing his breakfast to him. I had offered and lifted it out of the maid’s hands that had been bringing him his food. He was awake and seating but with lots of pillows propping his sides. He offered me a pallid smile. “Fine, thank you.” I dropped the tray before him. “Here’s breakfast.” “You made it yourself?” He asked, a bit surprised. I quirked a brow. “You think I can’t whip up a meal?” He chuckled lightly. “I didn’t say that. Thank you.” “How are you healing?
