Zane's POV
I dropped Alex off at the house and drove to pick her up at her aunt's place, but she didn't look too well, and she also seemed to be shivering.
I opened the door and waited for her to climb into the car. She didn't say anything to me, but I could tell that something was wrong. I didn't want to pressure her, so I kept quiet.
Lady Divine told me that tonight was going to be a challenging night for me, I just hope that we can get through whatever it is that is going to happen.
" Are you okay?" I asked her as I secured her seatbelt.
She took a deep breath, then with a weak smile, she said. " I'm fine..."
" Okay..." I said and kissed her forehead. She closed her eyes and fell asleep instantly.
