Chapter 31: Normal Is A Loose Term

I awoke to a hand on my arm.  My eyes flashed open and I gasped at the sudden awakening. My eyes searched the room for the person who awoke me, but saw no one. They started to slowly adjust to the darkness around me though, and soon enough I saw a tall figure standing in the corner of my stall. I achingly lifted myself into a sitting position, the entire time staring at the figure. I winced in pain as my leg and wrist moved, but tried to keep it hidden. When I was sitting up, I reached for one of my crutches that sat a few inches away from me, only to find both of them gone.  A low chuckling emerged from the person in the corner.
