Gavin's POV

I wake up with the sun shining through my windows making me groan not wanting to wake up, but then I felt someone hugging me from the side and I look at the chick who came home with me last night. What was her name again?

My wolf growled at me ‘What’ I asked him and he just growled at me and blocked me out before I could say anything. I’m Gavin Gabriel Black the future Alpha of the Red Moon Pack not to brag about myself, but I’m 6.2” tall, with emerald green eyes and a built body with very handsome features and women throw themselves on me. ‘It is very good and our only hope at being happy. Our mate is the one for us our other half. We will love her and protect her’ He said and I just rolled my eyes at him

‘Man stop whining, I don’t need a mate so I’m not looking for her so drop it’ I retorted and he just growled and blocked me once again. Seems like it’s his favourite thing to do anyway I looked at the clock and it’s 7 am

“f**k!” I muttered. I was supposed to meet my best friend and Beta Daniel by 7:30 am at school so I need to hurry up

I immediately made my way to the bathroom and took a shower and did my business quickly and dressed up and made my way to my car and hurried to school. Well, considering it’s 7:16 am I’ll not be late I guess and drove with full speed. I parked at the school parking lot at 7:26 am and made my way to our usual spot and looked at the parking waiting for my best friend to arrive. A few minutes later I saw a black Lamborghini stopping in the parking lot and Daniel getting off from passenger seat. Guess like he didn’t use his car to get hear and I could see a girl in the driver's seat and before I could clearly look at her Daniel came running to me.

“Hey man” he said giving me a hug

“Hey Dan, I see you got company so that’s why you were late?” I asked him with a suggestive smirk and he just shakes his head rolling his eyes. Did I tell you about Dan, well Daniel is no different than me he is also very handsome and about 6” tall, built and handsome and is also a player and we have a lot of fun and we actually like f*****g different girl every night you can’t blame us they throw themselves at us and we being a gentleman can’t deny a lady’s request now, can we?

“What? Gav you’ve lost it that’s my cousin sister dropping me because my car broke down” He replied. Wait didn’t he tell me that he hates her

“Isn’t she the one you hate the most in the world?” I asked and he sighed

“Of course I hate her because she got all the attention from my parents when her parents died and I was just left alone because of her on top of that my father keeps bragging on about how she is the strongest warrior in the pack and would make a very good Alpha and all” He said looking sad

“My dad never praised me when I did something good but always praises her whenever she does something. I’m just happy that she’ll get out of my hair in a week. Otherwise, I would have been thinking of more ways to kill her without my parents noticing it” He said

“What do mean get out of your hair after a week? Don’t tell me you’re really planning to kill her? Oh My God Dan she is your sister and I know it’s difficult to have a sister because mine has all the attention at home as well” I asked suddenly terrified that my best friend might do something he regrets later

“I mean in less than a week it’s her 18th birthday and she is taking over as Alpha officially and no I didn’t plan on killing her yet” He sighed and replied and I immediately relaxed

“Wait she taking over as Alpha already” I asked suddenly curious, she seems young to be an Alpha

“Well, you see the pack has been without an Alpha for almost 3 years since my aunt and uncle died and she has been handling things and businesses from here. She couldn’t take over as she wasn’t of age. To be honest, whether I like it or not she is strong and smart even on the day her parents died the rogues took her with them and she was only 15 at that time and because she was fighting too much they gave her pretty bad wounds with silver and injected wolfsbane. She couldn’t shift in to her wolf still she fought the rogues and killed them and when we found her, she was barely breathing because of all the torture, with the pain of her wounds and the pain of losing her parents. She still has the silver scars on her body but she doesn’t mind them and although everyone at school bullies her by calling fatty and what not, but she ignores them. I can only imagine how difficult it is for her to keep her wolf down because she doesn’t use her Alpha tone on anyone unless, they disrespected her, hurt her family or pack or done something unforgivable. When I push past her limit she beat the hell out of me and damn she is scary some times although she is not slim like other she-wolves she is extremely fast and energetic I don’t even know how” he said. She does sound interesting and like a good person. Maybe I’ll meet her sometime

But the thought of her getting hurt and rogues torturing her made me angry and a growl erupted from deep inside my chest before I can stop it. What is wrong with me I don't even know her. Maybe because she's my best friend's sister I sighed and looked at Dan

“Why don’t you put your past behind and get along with your sister seems like she went through a lot.” I said making him see some sense

“I don’t know man, we’ll see about that” He said shaking his head

She is already 18 and taking over her pack and I feel a little jealous and now that I think of it I’m already 20 and I still haven’t taken over the pack. Seems like I need to have a long conversation with my dad about this.

“How about we go and have some breakfast I’m really hungry” I asked him

“Sure” he smiled and nodded his head and we made our way to my car and drove to the nearest dinner for breakfast
