“BYE!” Leaving the others at the gate to the academy I branch off with Kalli and Keri since we’re the only two going back to Aerilion. But I can't miss my friend’s somewhat lustful look behind the back of none other than Blaze Lazlo before he vanishes into the darkness around the school. “What?” She asks when she notices not only me but also Kalli giving her looks.
“Seems like you like him.” I hear Kalli comment before she falls silent. The same way she’s been doing it all day. As if she comes back to us periodically before drifting away to wherever it is that she goes when we can’t reach her.
