Edana’s POV:
Hell. I’d never seen it in person - assuming the rumours about it existing are true that is - but I feel like I’ve come close. This is hell, or at least something close to it given how Angel and Heidi treat the four of us. As if we were in hell to be punished for some grievous sin that we don’t remember committing but that seems to have been attributed to us even so.
“Hey, are you ok Dana?” I can hear Braeden, trying to coax me back from the brink as he’s done time and time again. “Dana? Are you… ok?” He tries again but that just has me laughing tiredly, the gesture feeling forced as if I’m not entirely in control of my body and able to know what I’m doing or saying. But I am alive, that much I know for sure. I’m alive.
