Ash’s POV:
“You okay, beloved?” Leila’s tone snaps me out of my head to see that she’s watching me with a confused frown that I don’t see very often from her. I try to give her a small smile but she must have seen through it since she just gives me a long look and I sigh, trying to figure out how to explain to her the feeling I’d had all day.
It started as a good feeling. Linked to Dana it seemed to make us both smile before I’d realised what it meant and that had wiped the smile off my face quickly, leaving behind a bad feeling that had both me and Storm worried where he was cuddled up to Luna. Both wolves seemed worried the way I was. How to explain that what should have been one of the happiest days of my life is turning into one that I’m dreading seeing the conclusion of?
