Dinner was much less awkward than Cathy expected it to be. Of course, people still looked at her a little differently, she knew some of them judged both her and Andrew a lot. But the only people Andrew cared about in that party was Madison and Madeleine, so the only opinion she should care about was theirs - and they both seemed to like her a lot. The old Mr. Lowe remained quiet about this subject, she had no idea what he was thinking about all this, but again, Andrew didn’t seem to value his opinion this much, so it didn’t matter; the only thing that mattered was how proud Andrew seemed to be to show her off, no exceptions or conditions, he just loved her whole, and nothing could ever be more important than that.
