On the evening of December 24th, Andrew and Cathy arrived at his sister’s house in San Francisco. Madison Lowe-Bassett was a 27 years-old marketing executive who worked at her father’s company, and probably was the person who would take over his place once he decides to step down from his business. She was married to Jonathan Bassett, an economist and accountant who was once her father’s employee. They had two sons, Nathaniel and James, who were five and three years old.
