The Metropolitan Museum of Art was shut down for an entire week after the tense incident where an armed man entered the museum and threatened to set a whole gallery on fire. ‘Chaos and Creation’, the exhibit dedicated to the work of Xavier Köhler, where the episode took place, was canceled indefinitely, as many of the paintings would need to be restored and the artist himself requested it to be postponed. With a lot of money and powerful reputations at stake, soon the media was compelled to let this story cool down and the city of New York went on with its own chaos and creations, leaving this whole situation behind in the pantheon of insane things that ever happened on that soil. - “A sublime work that geniously unites boldness and sensitivity.” - Said Cathy, in the car, reading out loud
