She walked downstairs to greet her parents, even before Jace mind-linked her to say they were there, because her mother had called her and told her they were just pulling into the road that led to the pack. She’d stepped into the foyer and seen Jace come from his office. He smiled at her.
“Perfect timing. I was about to let you know your parents are here, just come through the gate.” He told her and walked towards her.
“I’m aware, I was on the phone with my mother as they came to the pack road.” She nodded and headed outside to greet them. She was just wearing jeans and a blouse. Jace, however, was wearing a suit. His jacket was open, but he was she noticed presentable as the Alpha. Trying she thought to look like the Alpha that he was supposed to be; but actually wasn't.
