I did not know how to say this. I was not sure whose reaction I was more nervous about: that of my fiancee or that of my little brother. In Orchid’s case, I had never really gotten over the sight of her limp body floating facedown in the pool after she had jumped from the balcony. I doubted I would ever get over it.
