Truth be told, I was not that enamoured with Talus. He was pretty crass and probably a full-blown alcoholic. However, his interest in Orchid seemed genuine. I was certain he hoped he was her father. My wolf certainly seemed convinced that he was our mate’s father. I was not so sure. I needed those paternity test results back as quickly as possible.
