That got intense fast. But I understood why. Alexander was protecting his wife and his child. I respected that.
"Alexander, if I ever hurt Cecilia again in any way, I'll help you dig the hole in which to bury me." My tone was serious. "I will be the first to admit I have been a horrible human being. A horrible husband. A horrible father. These past few months I have been realizing just how horrible. I am sincerely sorry for that.
