Cecilia shook her head and her eyes which had been glazed over were now clear and bright. "I have no idea. I think the house spirits were talking to me, or through me. It was weird! But I feel that we need to seriously consider staying in Adelaide rather than coming back here. At least for the next year or so."
"That is so weird is right. That same thought just went through my head. Are you still considering going for the medical tomorrow and the interview on Monday?" This was a valid concern. Declining to proceed with the interview process could negatively impact Cecilia's medical residency options. Doing the interview didn't mean she had to accept their offer, but it would work in her favor.
