Andrew's "have I got a story for you" comment got all our attention in quick time. I could feel Cecilia's body tense up beside me as she waited to hear what Andrew had to say. Gramps looked like he was torn between needing to know, and fearing the truth of what he was about to learn.
Cecilia patted her grandfather's hand. "Gramps, whatever it is, we will deal with it together, as family. No matte what, okay?" He nodded in acknowledgement but we could alll see how anxious he was.
