My wolf was howling for his mate, his Luna. My alpha aura was ignited by anger. I was able to track Jamie’s whereabouts roughly through our powerful mate-bond. I shifted and ran there as swiftly as I could. The bond led me to a lonely street. It was after midnight. The moon was full and her presence soothed me. I stalked down the row of houses on the quaint little lane, all with neatly-manicured lawns and pastel-coloured walls. I felt like I was in a twisted fairytale. There was an unnatural stillness to this place as if spell-bound and it had my wolf on edge. One house was different from the others. My wolf growled.
