Chapter 2: Longing

I sighed softly as the hot water splashed down over my body. It felt real good after the hard basketball game. I was surprised that my roommate and best friend Steve and our buddy Eddie actually won. I ran a hand over my chest, spreading the soap across my skin.
My mind trailed to Steve. He’d played real well today. I grinned under the spray. Maybe his girlfriend Aimee needed to stay gone more often. It definitely improved his game. My mind strayed to that deciding moment, when he stripped his shirt off.
I don’t know why that affected me. Hell. I’d seen the guy shirtless many times. He had a good body, thanks to lifting weights and wrestling. He could use a week in a tanning bed or on a beach, but he couldn’t help being pale. The girls didn’t seem to have a prob
