I had called everyone to discuss the next steps and Selene and I were waiting in the conference for all immediate members to arrive. Aaron was the first to reach and was surprised to see a new face sitting beside me. He immediately started questioning me through our mind link.
“Hey Ames, ummm who is that? I am not sure if an outsider should be brought to this meeting. I am not trying to question you or anything, I was just giving my thoughts considering how dangerous the situation is out there now.”
Hah. At least he had the presence of mind to be wary of what he was saying to me these days.
She is trustworthy. You’ll find out her identity when everyone arrives. Don’t want to have to answer the same question each time a new person walks in, I am sure you understand.
