Chapter 57 Gender Revealed

It was already 5 months and the couple Marnie and doctor Michael were both excited as today's the schedule of 5d ultrasound of Marnie. The baby's gender will be revealed. Marnie was praying for a girl since they already have two boys. Doctor Michael doesn't matter of any gender for their upcoming baby. He just wanted the baby and Marnie to be healthy and risk-free during his wife's journey in pregnancy.

Doctor Michael holds his wife's hand while entering their hospital's premises. As they were walking along the hallway, the medical staff greeted them. Doctor Michael was the owner and Medical Director of this hospital and everybody pays respect to the couple when they saw them coming inside.

"Good morning Doctor Co/ Good morning Madam," almost everyone greeted them with courtesy.

"Good morning," the couple responds accordingly. There is a good employer-employee relationship in Doctor Michael's hospital.

They proceed to the ObGyne Department and entered Dra. Lao's clinic. Dra. Gladys Lao is Doctor Michael's close friend and he entrusted Marnie's second pregnancy to her. She is also a top-caliber Medical Doctor under Ob Gyne Department.

"Good morning Dra. Lao," Doctor Michael and Marnie greeted her.

The young Ob Gyne smiled at them and said, "Good morning Dr. Co. Good morning Mrs. Co." She was so fond of this couple. She already knew the pregnancy history of Marnie and how delicate that was before. She is handling Marnie with extreme care to prevent the same scenario on her first pregnancy.

It was a good thing that Marnie's pregnancy now is very cooperative. She has no symptoms of a high-risk pregnancy as of this 5th month of her journey on pregnancy.

Marnie laid down on the hospital's bed for her ultrasound and was very excited about her new baby's gender. She wished for a girl.

"Wow, you will be expecting a healthy bouncing baby girl Madam," Dra. Lao told her excitedly while seeing the monitor. She knew how Marnie wished for a baby girl this time.

"Really?" Doctor Michael saw the monitor himself and can't help but smile. He will be having her princess already. His wife's long-awaited daughter is now inside her womb.

"Yes, and both mother and daughter were healthy. No any signs of problems in her pregnancy," Dra. Lao told the couple. She was so happy also as Marnie's pregnancy now is doing well. She is also taking extra care of herself.

"But you needed to continue taking your vitamins and medicines for the baby to keep intact in your womb Madam," she reminded Marnie and Doctor Michael.

"Yes, Dra. I religiously take my vitamins and medicines. Thank you so much for being so thoughtful reminding me always," Marnie said to Dra. Lao. Aside from her regular checkups with Dra., she always reminds her via chats and text on her daily routine. Marnie and Doctor Michael liked how Dra. Lao handles her pregnancy. It is as though Dra. Lao was Marnie's sister and a companion.

Dra. Lao's genuine relationship with the couple especially with Marnie was well appreciated by them. Dra. Lao almost treated Marnie as her younger sister. Dra. Lao was an only child and she felt that Marnie was just like a little sister for her too.

"Congratulations again to the two of you. I am sure that you will be having a very beautiful offspring again," Dra. Lao told them. She had seen their twins and they were both such beautiful faces, exact mini replicas of Doctor Michael.

"Thank you, Dra. Lao," Marnie replied. She was so excited knowing that she's carrying a baby girl already and she seemed to be very kind to her as she wasn't experiencing the same morning sickness when she was pregnant with the twins.

"It seemed that this little Princess is quite so kind with her mother," Doctor Michale told them while caressing her belly.

"Yup, I can feel it also. I haven't had any troubles and morning sickness unlike before. She was so kind to me. I love you, my little Princess," Marnie replied to him while holding Doctor's Michael hand caressing her belly.

They were both so happy knowing the gender of their third child.

"Bye Dra. Lao. Thank you so much," Doctor Michael waved goodbye to the Ob Gyne already.

"Take care," Dra. Lao waved goodbye to the couple as well.

Marnie asked Doctor Michael if they can have a simple celebration by dining out for lunch after they came from the hospital.

"Honey, I am craving. I want to eat Bulalo from Tagaytay," she told him.

"Alright, I know a newly launched Alfresco Restaurant in Tagaytay. It's Tanawin sa Gulod Restaurant. It has a perfect view of Taal Volcano, the staffs were very accommodating and their servings were great. Let's try it," Doctor Michael said.

The couple now were heading to Tagaytay City. Marnie was so excited as she caves for a Bulalo, it's a Beef Soup known as the special delicacy in Tagaytay City. The majority of the visiting tourist were all looking for Bulalo Soup in Tagaytay and the couple was one of them.

After knowing the gender of their third child, Marnie became more active and beautiful. Her pregnancy seemed to change her well. She was so inspired now and she felt that her baby is very cooperative with her now. She doesn't feel any disturbances in her body nor felt any trouble with her health.

After they dined in at Tanawin sa Gulod Alfresco Restaurant in Tagaytay, they went to nearby Serin Mall to buy some baby stuff for their upcoming baby. I dreamed of this pregnancy will be flooded with pink colors now. Before were lots of blue colors since the twins were both boys. This time Marnie felt that she's too excited as she will dress up a tiny little girl which she's always dreamt of ever since.

Being an only daughter, she hadn't experienced playing with a girl when she was young. She always treated her Barbie doll as her little sister. Now that she's having a little girl of her own, her daughter, she was so excited with her.

Doctor Michael saw his beloved wife smiling and he asked her," Why is my beautiful wife smiling? Are you thinking of something naughty honey?" he teased her.

"Hey! You're bad. I am not naughty okay. I am thinking of buying lots of pink pieces of stuff for our daughter," she pinched her husband's side upon hearing his words.

"I am just joking, ouch," Doctor Michael was so happy seeing his beloved wife blushed every time he teased her.

"I love you so much honey," he said to her when he held her hand.

"I love you more honey," Marnie replied.
