My whole world stopped. Damon's name being yelled by Caleb, repeating over and over in my mind, each time hurting more than the last. No on in the room has moved an inch, everyone's eyes are glued to the phone while we hear Caleb call an ambulance on his own phone. I am still holding Jaymie in my arms who is fast asleep.
Damon's mother looked the worst out of everyone, all colour has been drained from her face and her mouth is hung slightly open. He son has just been shot and she can't do anything about it because she doesn't know where he is.
Caleb's voice is hushed as he whispers for Damon to stay awake, to stay with him.
