Amit's POV:
It seemed like the world stopped. There wasn't anyone making it turn anymore. It was as if heaven itself was mourning over the loss of its angel. The Earth was paralyzed in shock.
I slowly dragged myself out of bed. It was misery, walking from the bedroom to the kitchen. There were only a few times that I moved, and to get blood was one. The packets I had in the freezer were slowly depleting but I couldn't find it in myself to hunt. Nothing would sustain me, not from this.
Perhaps there were other things I could have done. Perhaps I should move on. Perhaps.. But why? What's the point? I had everything.
