It took less than half an hour to shower, shave, and get ready to go. What takes girls so long to get ready, I couldn't fathom.
Dad had given me a spring of blue flowers to put on. They all had white or red.
"To match Robynne's dress," Dad explained with pride, as he pinned it on. Stepping back and admiring how it looked, Mum had discussed the dress color with Robynne's mum and given Dad the color for the flowers. Those two women had been colluding with each other. I think they are hoping we are mates.
